Peekr documentation

Peekr has three parts that share one model: the desktop apps (Mac and Windows) where you capture, the web app where your team works, and the MCP servers — one hosted, one inside the apps — through which agents see the board. A capture made anywhere shows up everywhere it's allowed to, with the same identity and the same rules.

The model in five sentences

• A capture is one or more screenshots (or none — a text-only issue) plus a note, a status and some context: app, window, URL, tags.
• A workspace is a team. People are owners, admins, members or guests.
• A group is a topic and the unit of sharing. It's either private (visible only to the people in it) or workspace-visible.
• A capture that isn't in a group is private to its author. Filing it into a group shares it with that group.
• Agents see what the person who connected them sees; bots are agents with their own membership, and can be assigned work.
